Some thoughts from a selection

          of our customers about our

service and the parks we represent

We were staying at Lady's Mile and we wanted to look into leaving our Tourer at the park, we then saw a poster advertising static caravans for sale. We decided to go and have a look at Oakcliff where the sales office was. The moment we walked onto Oakcliff Holiday Park we fell in love with the place. We went to the sales office where we met Aimee from CLAS1, she was very helpful and explained everything involved in purchasing a holiday home. Everyone we met on the park was very freindly and equally helpful. The service we recieved was excellent and we would recommend at anyone that wants to buy a caravan to come and experience the freindly atmosphere at Oakcliff and get in touch with Aimee and her team at CLAS1, you couldnt ask for better service during and after buying a caravan.

I owned a very old caravan and had been considering changing it for some time. I had no idea what the modern caravans offered and how to go about buying one. I looked around for several months getting more and more confused. Someone told me about CLAS1 so i called them to see if they could help. Richard Law came to see me and we discussed what i was looking for in a new caravan, budgets and the restrictions of the site i occupied. He came up with some options for me and it didn't take long for me to decide on a New ABI Westwood. They didn't stop there they then arranged for transporters and siting crews to come and survey my site and work out how they were going to site my new Caravan, it was in a very awkward position. Delivery and siting was seemless and to top it all Richard and Jim of CLAS1 arrived and unpacked the caravan for me and checked for faults. Nothing was to much trouble for these guys, their knowledge and contacts made everything so easy, they exceeded all my expectations.

If anyone had told me just six months ago that by July I would be the proud owner of several extrememly comfortable and well appointed rooms with a balcony and absolutely glorious view of the coast between Minehead and Weston-super-Mare I wouldn't have believed them. If someone had mentioned the word 'caravan' I would have ignored them.

I'm not really sure how the conversion occurred - but, quite suddenly, while looking through an information booklet on Somerset,I saw the advert for 'caravans for sale' at St Audries' Bay and some details of the Holiday Club. I thought - we'll never be able to afford a cottage by the sea but what about a caravan? Might that be a possibility? Perhaps we should find out a bit more and even go down to have a look. It can't do any harm and might be interesting - something different. We're not committing ourselves to anything by looking! I made an initial phone call and spoke to a very helpful young man who turned out to be Richard Law - of whom more later - and over to St Audries we came - still in a very ignorant, cynical and negative frame of mind. It would not be easy to convince us that a caravan was a good idea. It would take a fantastic view, a remarkable salesman and a complete change of mind about caravans themselves.

So here we are. We came we saw. Our eyes were opened.

We spent the first misty, chilly night in a caravan surrounded by concrete bases and diggers. Not encouraging - confirming all our worst fears. The following morning glorious sunshine and the most beautiful view of the coast from the ugly concrete bases and the sudden realisation that this amazing view would belong to a caravan on that base. Richard arrived to answer all our queries and enable a very steep learning curve with his professional knowledge, enthusiasm, good humour and extreme patience. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Over three days he found time to meet us on numerous occasions, to show us the different caravans available and to tolerate my poor decision making as I wrestled with the criteria involved in choice of caravan eg: seating arrangement (if I have beautiful view then I don't want to sit with my back to it). The seating needed to be to the right of the window to take maximum advantage of sunset over Minehead - and it is and does! All the new caravans we saw were an eye opener - with their central heating, double glazing, french windows(two of them) en-suite master bedroom, brilliant space saving devices and designs and elegant furnishings. Final proof of Richard's care and concern came, after our return home, when my husband suddenly forsaw a possible problem which we relayed to Richard who later rang us - from a step ladder on our concrete base - to confirm that the placing of a caravan next door would not impede our view and he was , of course, right. Now that must be over, above and beyond any salesman's call of duty! What a star! We cannot speak too highly of Richard's before, during, and after care - and still continuing interest.

Richard, Paul and the team who have eased our passage and made us feel so wecome. What an inspiration! Who'd have thought it!! Richard knows that we hold him and Paul entirely responsible for our conversion - and we're not quite sure how they did it!!

I chose to buy my holiday home at Oakcliff because of its location. Oakcliff Holiday Park is small, friendly and ideally placed on the beautiful South Devon Coast. The sales representative, Aimee from CLAS1, made the process of buying my home effotless, because of her professional and friendly approach, and I look forward to many happy holidays at Oakcliff.

Working long hours being self employed is no joke, and having your work right on the doorstep makes days off not so enjoyable. So a friend suggested we buy a holiday caravan further down our coast. Brilliant! Now how do you go about finding such a thing? Internet, first option. We typed in caravan homes for sale in Cornwall and we came across the CLAS1 website, which was very informative & seemed to offer what we wanted, we telephoned them, as I am of an age where I like to talk to people and not a keyboard. A very helpful Richard Law suggested that we meet and he would show us what he had to offer. Richard was an angel & very patient, he showed us around a couple of sites offering excellent ammenities. Not that we are fussy people but a caravan did not seem to be the answer for us, so he suggested a lodge. What a difference. Deals were struck & we are now proud owners of a lodge in Newquay and we decided to buy a caravan which we will rent out in the summer. The manager and staff have been friendly & helpful, I cannot praise them enough, its so nice to meet great people that we can now call our friends as well.  Thanks again Richard & Clas1.

We were very impressed by Aimee's lovely friendly manner & how she dealt with us, Aimee answered all of our questions, she is very knowledgable & put us at ease. The whole process of buying a Holiday Home went very smoothly & was effortless. Once again thank you very much!

Having decided to buy a holiday home for weekends away etc, we considered a static caravan. We didint want to travel too far from the Midlands so thought about Somerset or Devon.

First port of call was to enter  "static caravans south west england" into Google & up came with CLAS1. After looking at their web site & being impressed with what was on offer we completed the enquiry form and a few days later recieved brochures on three sites, one in Devon & two in Somerset. We discounted the Devon site as we thought it would be a little too far but were interested in the one in Somerset, about an hour & a half drive from our home.

We contacted CLAS1 to arrange a visit & met up with Richard on a cold & blustery November day. He showed us around both sites & spent most of the afternoon with us, we gained a real insight into the lifestyle due to his knowledge & impartial advice, he was very helpful but never pushy.

Eventually we decided on Cripps Farm due to its setting, it is beautifully laid out around two fishing lakes, it offers peace & tranquility whilst at the same time being only about 15 minutes from the nearest beach within easy reach of the many pubs, restaraunts & amenities in the area if these are required.

Buying a caravan at Cripps farm is one of the best things we could have done as it is a real haven & somewhere to look forward to going at the end of a busy week.

Many thanks to Richard at CLAS1 & to Sue & Graham of Cripps Farm for helping us through the buying process.
